Ethiopia Abo Hussein Natural

This coffee comes from Abo Hussein’s small farm in the Jimmu area of the Limu region. Since 2008 and the establishment of the ECX, private farms have been the one option that preserve relationships and traceable coffee. Abo had previously contributed his coffee to the regional blended lots from Duromina washing station, which we have purchased for a few years running. Last year he obtained his own export license and was able to keep his lots separate through processing and get higher prices for his meticulously produced coffees. We bought his first ever direct export lot last year and this year’s Natural process lot is even more delicious. Our importers at Crop to Cup continue to do fantastic work sourcing these fully traceable coffees in Limu and we are excited to continue this parthership. This one tastes like blackberry jam, passionfruit, plum, and milk chocolate.
